Rights: The author retains all rights to his/her work.

Needs: Prose pieces - fiction and nonfiction - accepted. Preferred pieces will be those with a bit of character, a bit of plot, a bit of melancholia, a bit of fun or a Bit O' Honey.

Prose poems may be considered if they are more prose than poem.

Length: Submissions should be TinyLit of around 75 words or less, though there are no strict word count restrictions at this time.

Payment: Authors will receive free copies of the issue in which their work appears. -AND- We will be awarding the best piece selected for inclusion in little elegy issue two, a Featured Author profile on the website.

How to Submit: We can accept e-mail submissions only at this time. Please send your submissions to submissions@littleelegy.com. Please include the text of your submission(s) in the body of the message. If special formatting is preferred, you may attach a Word document. No other attachment formats can be accepted at this time.

Response Time: We will respond within 72 hours of receiving your submission(s)!

Tips for Writers: We love fun, like carnival rides. We love melancholia, like dreams that were lost at the carnival. We love sweet but deadly, like cotton candy and caramel apples at the carnival. We love truth, like color and light.
