Rights: We purchase one time electronic rights for our online ezine, and one time print rights for our print newsletter.

Needs: We look for articles written in a conversational, yet informational, tone. We love writers who pitch ideas that aren't being covered in the ezine, but should be. Past articles accepted have included: personal experiences, humor, opinion, well-researched non-fiction, current events issues pertaining to parenting, and interviews with professionals. All articles should deal with some aspect of parenting. We cover areas from pregnancy to teens, and would also like to cover areas such as: marriage and parenting, a parents choice to work/stay at home, single parenting, or alternative methods of parenting.

Length: 200-1500 wds.

Art/Photo Needs: Please specify if photos or artwork are available.

Payment: $5.00 per accepted article. We pay freelancers on the first of the month following the appearance of their article. For example: If your article is published on June 8th, you will receive payment the first week of July. We offer a byline, bio, and links to writing samples/webpages. In addition to our online ezine we also produce a monthly print newsletter. You may specify where you prefer your submission to be published, but we reserve the right to publish where we feel your article is most appropriate. If published in our print newsletter, you will receive complementary copies along with payment.

How to Submit: We prefer writers to query first. Just a rough outline of your ideas and experience. When submitting your articles, please do so in the body of an email. NO ATTACHMENTS, please! Unless we have specifically requested you to send a submission via attachment, we will no longer view them. If you have photos, please specify in your query letter. Please enter

Tips for Writers: We are eager to work with new writers, as well as those well established. We do accept simultaneous submissions, multiple submissions, and reprints. We strongly urge writers to visit the current online issue and scan a few articles to see what type of content we look for before submitting.
