Description: This is a literary magazine that will publish short fiction, poetry, literary essays, and book reviews. Canadian and new writers will have higher priority but all contributions are welcome. First issue means good chance for publication.

Rights: We require first serial rights for all accepted works and first electronic rights for works to be featured on the website. After we print your work, you hold all rights to it.

Needs: We are looking for works of short fiction, poetry, literary essays, and book reviews. All contributions are welcome although we mean to publish 75% new writers per issue. Canadian talent will be favoured but exceptional work from elsewhere may very well find a home with us. We need your contribution.

Length: The length of submissions varies by type of work. Please see our website for details.

Payment: Payment will consist of one contributor's copy and one year's subscription. You may also be featured on our website with an author's bio and a sample work.

How to Submit: Submissions should be made in hardcopy to our mailing address provided on our website. Include a cover letter, a SASE with Canadian postage or IRC, and your email address.

Response Time: All submissions and will be acknowledged via email within one month of receipt. A response will be sent within three months of acknowledgement.

Tips for Writers: Please be sure to peruse our website and study our submission guidelines. We appreciate feedback and communication so don't hesitate to email the editor if you have any questions at all. Because we are a new magazine your odds of being published are greater here than elsewhere. We are eager to hear from new writers, particularly from Canada.

Sample Copies/Subscription Information: Sample copies will be available as of January 1, 2005 when our first issue is published. Subscriptions are available at any time, see website for details.
